Important Covid-19 News and Changes to Shop Etiquette

Please take note of the new Studio Rules in regard to Covid-19:

- We are NOT taking walk-ins at this time. The shop will continue to operate until mandated that we close (as a non-essential business) but until then, we can only allow those who have made appointments in advance to be tattooed.

- No. Your friend CANNOT come with you at this time. Sorry, but NO EXCEPTIONS. If you must have a friend present during your tattoo appointment, please email your artist to reschedule. You must be 18+ to be tattooed at Tattoos This Way. A parent does not need to be present. We are trying to cut down on unnecessary traffic into the studio. It is a small space. More people means more potential for germs. Please understand our concern for our artists, other clients, and their families.

- When you arrive for your scheduled appointment, please wash your hands in our washroom to cut down on potential transference of germs and put on a paper mask. You will wear this for the duration of your appointment.

- If you are even feeling a little bit under-the-weather, please GO HOME/ STAY HOME! If you show up and appear in any way to be showing any sign of illness, you will be asked politely to leave and you will LOSE YOUR DEPOSIT. We are sorry if you have come such a long way to get tattooed, but the risk of getting ill, or for your tattoo not to heal properly is too great.

- If you have traveled, and have not self-quarantined for the minimum of 2 weeks, please reschedule your appointment.

- If you have been in contact with anyone who has traveled anytime within the minimum of 2 weeks, please reschedule your appointment.

- Call or email the shop to reschedule without penalty. If you show up and get turned away, you will lose your deposit. Sorry, but this is how seriously we are taking social distancing!

PLEASE DON’T BE SELFISH!

It’s not all about you, it’s about EVERYONE. Artists as well as other clients may be taking immune-suppressing medications, making them extremely vulnerable to illness. Artists and other clients may be caring for, or living with those most at risk, including those on immune-suppressing medications, elderly family members, and those with infants. Please take their health into consideration.

This situation should only be temporary. We look forward to things getting back to normal sooner than later.

Please take care of yourself, check on your friends and neighbors, wash your hands and avoid touching your face <3
